Intrigued about doing cheese with caper leaves. Do you just plonk them just picked and rinsed in the milk?

Thank you so much for this informative post! I had heard capers grew in the walls of our town ( Ascoli Piceno) but I didn’t know what the actual plants looked like. I have seen these plants often. 👏❤️

Wonderful and super interesting article! Capers (and black olives) have been favorite additions to our tuna and hard boiled egg salad for ages.

No chance of growing capers in freezing Canada. We used to have them nearby in Australia growing up and I can confirm that raw they are extremely unpleasant :P I do love them and they are so versatile; especially good with eggplant.
