I don’t do many online cooking classes but when Milkstreet asked me to come up with a masterclass for an intimate, group online workshop, I proposed one based around one of my favourite Italian ingredients but one that is perhaps sometimes intimidating for some: vongole!
Small but tasty, sustainable, nutritious and ideal for transporting you instantly to the Italian coast, vongole (clams) are simply wonderful.
We are doing it May 7, this Sunday, at 8:30pm Central Europe Summer Time (double check the time difference where you are, we are 6 hours ahead of those on the East Coast of the US for example), this online class is 90 minutes long and the menu will feature:
Spaghetti con le vongole
Vongole with polenta (a clam stew on a bed of pillowy polenta)
And I’ll also be giving you all my tips on choosing, cleaning and preparing clams, ideas for leftovers, tips for polenta and more. This will be an absolutely delicious class!
