Registration has just opened for the Venice Lagoon Retreat, April 27 - May 1, 2023, which I am hosting with the help of Italy Segreta Experiences. This is an experience where we focus on the lagoon (without it, Venice does not exist!) and the islands to give you a truly authentic view of the real Venice. We will call the colourful Burano home, we’ll be fishing, eating and drinking spritzes on a boat on the lagoon, tasting ancient wine grown on the islands, we visit a glassmaker in Murano who is usually closed to the public and wander the backstreets of the Rialto market for cicchetti. There’s also a visit to the vegetable gardens of Sant’Erasmo (it’s artichoke season!) and lunch on Torcello island at the divine Cipriani… and so much more.
