Announcing two culinary workshops for 2022
How does the Venetian lagoon or Tuscan wine country sound?
These have been in works for over a year and it finally feels right to get this out there! I hope you’ll be interested to join me in one of these two very exciting workshops for food, wine and Italy lovers — my only ones for this year.
The Lagoon Workshop, May 26-29: Three nights in the Venetian lagoon, based in beautiful Casa Burano, dining at Michelin star Venissa, tasting one of the most intriguing and sought after white wines on the planet, cooking on a fishing boat in the lagoon and walking the backstreets of the Rialto on a food history tour. Plenty of cicchetti too, of course. Basically this trip is inspired entirely by my upcoming book Cinnamon and Salt. There are only 8 rooms available for this special trip.
Pecorino e Vino, June 5-10: Cheese and wine in the heart of Tuscany, what could be better together? We will be back at my favourite Villa Pienza, a beautiful restored farmhouse with a 360 degree view of the rippling golden hills of the Val d’Orcia, for five nights. We will make cheese with a pecorino cheesemaker, and see the process from stable to table, cook and taste wine together most days, visit Montalcino the most important wine town in Tuscany, and stunning Pienza, as well as see some other artisan producers in action and taste their goods. There’ll be time for napping, lounging and a dip in the pool too. There are only 6 rooms available on this trip.

Oh Emiko, they both sound so heavenly! what a dream!
